College basketball: Mid-major Players Worth Watching

In a new post for The Farm Club, I take a look at five players from mid-major conferences worth keeping an eye on this season.

While the likes of Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker have dominated college basketball headlines early this season, there are scores of players outside thepower schools that are also worth our attention.

This season will feature a new crop of players leading the way in mid/low major conferences, as players like Kelly Olynyk, Nate Wolters, Mike Muscala, C.J. McCollum, and Ian Clark are now playing professionally.

The new emerging talent from the “non-BCS” leagues includes players the country may already be familiar with–such as Cleanthony Early and Juvonte Reddic–as well as some less heralded ones like Sean Armand and Cameron Ayers.
