Trent Richardson Trade: Did the Colts Pay Too Much?

Richardson is a great talent and he makes the Colts better; the question is at what cost?

The first-round pick Indianapolis sent to Cleveland could be used to fill a number of holes on the roster that are more important than running back. Passing correlates with winning in the NFL far greater than running, and this is more true now than ever.

For a team with holes in its defense and offensive line, in addition to one with a solid starter at running back already in the fold, it is worth questioning whether the Colts paid too high a price for Richardson.
